Workshop duration: 8 hours, with a variety of exercises. Often, technical feasibility, a fascination with technology, and the desires of sales or marketing perspectives dictate the design of a new product too early. The result: compromises instead of solutions that truly inspire users. Because desires are not needs. Too often, customer wishes are implemented that users ultimately don't use, forcing the development of workarounds for real tasks. In this training, we demonstrate why the standardized Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach is the better way – because it systematically and evidence-basedly starts with user needs, thus ensuring both market success and internal acceptance. Who is this training suitable for? Product and project managers, decision-makers, founders, and owners who want to build their product concepts on a solid, user-centered foundation. What you will learn in this training: 1. Why early influences from technology, sales, and marketing jeopardize product quality. 2. How the Human-Centered Design approach works and why it's more objective. 3.
